I've attended a couple of en mass self-development courses in the past of which one was an event by Tony Robbins and came away from the 2-day event feeling good.
Now I'm not knocking the event at all, in fact, I did like it and made some good friends, however, I was hoping for more real life tools or processes I could actually put in place.
what I liked:
great place to make friends and network
feeling of people wanting to achieve in the room, lifting yourself at the same time
some great stories told by the man himself
what I didn't like as much
event crew pumping the crowd up, for a rock star entrance
at times it seemed a little fake, questioning some methods
the hard sales pitch at the end, limited time to get to the next level at a very considerable cost
Now again, not knocking the event and I'm not discouraging people from going to these, I believe they are inspiring, however, I would love to hear other peoples experiences with these types of events with the likes of; Tony Robbins, Zig Ziglar, Robert Kiyosaki, Nick Vujicic etc...
